Those 2 huge shots of spidey suck. The CG model is inferior to the one that was used at the end of the 1st movie and those above shots are the ones taken from the end of sm2 and again, lazily recycled for the start of sm3 but from a different angle.

Are you insane? The CG in SM1 has not aged well at all (read: it's terrible). The CG in SM3 is a huge improvement.

And I believe recycling the final swing from SM2 in the beginning of SM3 was done to indicate the brief timespan between both movies.
