Aw, I for some reason miss this show again. This thread is about what is one of the better superhero cartoons ever made and certainly the best Spidey.

I would had enjoyed the Venom Returns/Carnage episodes if they didn't put Mordo,Dormammu,Iron Man, and War Machine in it

B/c they weren't needed.They should had kept it like how it was in the comics except not making Carnage that violent.They could had eased him down since it was a kids show

They did. Since they couldn't have him kill anybody he was "stealing energy" for Dormamu. Censors suck, right?

3. Turning Point
4. Doctor Octopus Armed and Dangerous
5. The 2-parter Partners (Black Cat)
6. Goblin Wars
7. The Return of MJ and Harry become a really Goblin
8. Secret Wars 1-3

Yeah, a really good show for kids. Sure it had its off episodes (Spidey joining Ock with amneisa, Black Cat joining Morbious and Blade, th ereally wretched idea that Peter's MJ he had grown with and married was a clone) but overall a damn good show that at least in the first 4 seasons captured the sense of the comic, if watered down.

I was just wondering if there was anywhere online or out there with them to buy instead of the lousy by two or three episodes a character crap that Disney is trying to milk with them everytime a movie comes out though.

So far, this has been the only Spidey cartoon that really "got it". The other cartoons would always put the focus on Spider-Man busting supervillains, or adding some new edgy twist to the mythos than didn't pan out.... the 90's Spidey cartoon put the focus back on Peter Parker, just like in the comics, and that's what made it work so well. And it also really nailed Spidey's sense of humor.... I can think of dozens of classic quips.

As far as best episodes.... the Alien Costume 3-parter was definitely the high point of the series. There's a reason that SM3 is adapting so much from that storyline.

I just like the Alien Symbiote saga, and the Carnage saga. just for the simple reason that I like both Carnage and Venom. So seeing them on Tv just puts a smile on my face.

Yeah. I refuse to buy anymore of those.

I have found unauthorized versions available online, but that's it... If they don't release the WHOLE series soon, I might consider getting one.

I suggest you just get one. When Disney buy the rights to something they love to sit on it.

I hated how Spider-Man never punched anyone. Also they made him too weak sometimes. Other than that the stories captured the feel of the comic pretty well.

I liked any episode with Green Goblin or Hobgoblin, Lizard and Venom and Carnage. I loved them all though.

I wish Sandman was in it.

I dunno I know I was always saying in school "I'm going to destroy you" "You took the last cookie, your....finished"

Wait no one talks like that....We should kill the writers of the show....kill them dead.

Seriously though, i dont think it would of damaged a child fragile mind to hear king pin wanting spiderman dead. kids younger or older hear and say words like die, kill, ect. Hell I was on a sidewalk today and some 4 year old was running around stepping on ants screaming die at them. I didnt see the kids parents anywhere around, but I suppose thats a whole different issue.
