I am very saddened to announce you than Stan Winston, who, with his team, created the Iron Man armours, as well as the Terminator, Alien Queen, Predator, and so on, so forth, passed away on June 15th 2008, in Los Angeles. He was 62. He will be missed, I am pretty sure...

He had multiple myeloma that he was dealing with for apparently several years. What a shock, and I was totally blindsided by this today. I saw him at Comic Con last year and the year before, and I had no idea. Goodbye to one of the greatest pioneers, artists, and creators of all time. RIP Stan.
