Right, I am a complete novice here when it comes to using Java. I wish to learn it and need to know what is a decent editor to use. I believe Eclipse is a good one. If so can anyone recommend which version and where I can download it from. Am I right in thinking it is free? Do I need to downlaod anything else or will Eclipse and a good book on using Java set me on my way?
Anyone on here use Java much, do you think it will be quite easy to learn?
Any hlep or advice will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

You are looking for a JAVA Code Editor?
is that correct?

Thats right. I really am just starting this so if my phrasing is wrong please correct me. I need to know a good editor for the code. One that is free and will enable me to view what the code has created.
