let El confront "papa" and end the show at that point would hate for them to prolong it without making sense
 
Duffers already said they planned for this to be a 4 season story, so there will be an end, just at 4 seasons.
 
My Thoughts on this Season Overall once again it was a Home Run

I liked the bond Hopper and Eleven shared.

I never thought this show would make me like Steve but it did it in fact Billy become my most hated Character now.

Its a shame about Bob at 1st I thought he was going to come off as an ******* but in the end he got a hero moment with a heartbreaking death

The Paring of Dustin and Steve was pure Brilliant

I have my Distaste of Billy but I thought Max was a nice edition to the group

There is more to tell of Eleven's story but to be honest the story with the boys is pretty much over. I could see them expanding more on Eleven's story and Confronting Brenner in Season 3 or to end it with Season 4 but I honstley think you can't have a monster attack Hawkins every single season. Maybe the group goes on a little road trip I wouldn't mind that plus you would want to get out of the town after everything that's happend in that town.

Overall a Pretty good season its a shame its over I'll probablby revisted the Season in a few weeks again.
 
Well that prologue in Pittsburgh all but guaranteed something more.
 
So you think her ''sister'' is going to appear in Season 3 as the big bad?

Maybe they'll have some super-power style battles.

You know, Hawkins itself remained fairly unharmed so far. I think we have yet to see a full-blown attack on the small town, which affects all of the citizens. We haven't seen a Gremlins styler mayhem yet (by the way, did you notice the homage to Jerry Goldsmith's Gremlins theme in the scene in which Dart escapes?).
 
Four episodes in and I'm not liking this at all so far.

It's taking too long to get going and c'mon - now we got a cute little CGI creature for Dustin? LOL

Just finished the season. 11's story was very emotional throughout the series. Her centric episode was probably my favorite of the season. I didn't get an X-Men vibe at all from her little subplot or that group. I mean, when 8 was trying to get 11 to move the train it sort of reminded me of Prof X getting Magneto to move the satellite from First Class.

For me though, Will and Joyce stole the show for me. Joyce might be my favorite character on the show. Sidenote, I really wish the actor who played Will would have played Jake in The Dark Tower. The movie still would have sucked but he could have played that role so much better.

It wasn't a vibe. They completely lifted that scene from X-Men: First Class. 8's "cloaking" trick was also the same as Xavier's in First Class. 8 and 11 have a conflict over harming some one that was "just following orders". See the ending to X-Men: First Class.

Not her sister but I do think that another number will show up as the big bad
 
'The Lost Sister' is my favorite ep so far. Two more to go.
 
I'm enjoying this series. Still near the beginning of season 1 so won't read the other posts. Look forward to catching up!

That impossibly tall creature
they teased at the end might lay hell down upon Hawkins.

They were going for The Warriors but it didn't ready work hahaha. All I could think about is what the sister's everyday life is like with these asshats.

Just finished up and all I can say is I'm massively disappointed.

It felt like they didn't know where to go with this story at all nor how to effectively follow up with the upside down. This time we got a cheap CGI army of "demi-dogs", a weird 11 adventure into New York where she learned to be "b*tchin", and then a lame CGI spectacle with her closing the gate.

I get that much of this series is about the kids, but I just couldn't connect to it at all the second time around. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it.

Well we do have 9 other Numbered kids to meet. So far we have only met 8 and 11, where are 1-7, 9 and 10?

Correct, 11's crew are the X-Men, but 8's Crew are the Brotherhood.

I'm sure at least a good number of them probably didn't make it. I'd say they meet 4-5 more tops.

I really don't want this. I don't care about their maritial issues or her becoming an alcoholic or whatever. This isn't that kinda show. If you wanna show issues with the couples that are part of the "squad" than cool. But Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler? Pass

Anyway here's my wish list for season 3.
-Keep playing with character team ups. Dustin and Steve+El and Hopper worked out so well. I think not just sticking characters with the same people could help keep the show fresh. Jonathan and Mike, Nancy and Max...idk just something. I want to see new interactions. And I this this show's cast is strong enough (no weak link imo) that they can put anyone with anyone and make it work.
-Leave the boy Will alone. No[BLACKOUT] possesion, no kidnapping, [/BLACKOUT]let Will just be a kid this season. Or as much of a kid as you can be in Hawkins. I want him to be less of a victim I want some badass moments from him. Also maybe it'll give Joyce (Winona Ryder) a chance to chill out a bit
-No more love triangles. I think this show actually handled them well, but I'm good on seeing anymore
-Unless they are villains keep the new character to a minimum
-If their not gonna do a big timeskip, I would love to see the Party's first day of high school
-Something more for Lucas to do other than be a love interest
-Something more for Max to do other than be a love interest
-Something more for Jonathan to do other than being "Nancy's bf" and "Will's brother"
-Give Billy something to do or give him nada.
-Pay off from "The Lost Sister" I assume that's already a give-in. [BLACKOUT]Wouldn't mind an evil number who wants to open the Gate back up as revenge against humanity[/BLACKOUT]
-Steve still in Hawkins as a cop or training to be a cop. Hopper needs back up on the force so he doesn't do some of the dumb stuff he does in season 2
-No more nosebleeds every time someone uses a power. I know it's a staple at this point, but ew

That's all I have so far. But I really enjoyed season 2. Maybe slightly more than s1, but then again it is more "fresh"
