I mean, are these poor operators obligated to try to help people out even if its nowhere near an emergency? The first operator in the first clip had the right idea. He was very blunt, "this is not an emergency. Goodnight". They should all be able to do that.

I actually called 999 the other night for the first time in my life. Never really been one to stick my nose in before, i usually just let things go and assume someone else will deal with it. This though was 3 in the morning and there was a group of drunken teenagers literally in the street outside my bedroom window screaming, shouting, smashing stuff (glass bottles, pieces of wood etc) I attempted to ignore it for like an hour and then i heard a car get kicked and decided i'd had enough so i called. The cops turned up in less than 5 minutes with full sirens and took 2 of them away and scared the **** out of the rest, awesome feeling of satisfaction i must say.

I know this isnt really what the topic was about but wanted to tell someone about it.
