I gotta ask, is Collin Ferrell's character a Warewolf? Is that the big twist?

I know there is a huge twist that happens in a future episode that has split critics who have watched the screeners, but it certainly seems like it.

...really loving the Raymond Chandler x 2023 vibes, him driving around and monolouging with a dog in the vintage corvette is gold.

BUT, I'm scared there's some alien/robot twist or something coming.
