Comics Super? man

What makes superman so special? I mean, where do his powers come from? I know he is an alien, so does that mean everyone from his planet would be "super" if they came to earth? And what if there is a mineral/substance on earth that is not on Krypton, that would make earthlings "super" there?

Just something to think about...

It's more than that.......the dude's biology is actually very advanced.

But, namely....since he can do SUPER things.......and he's a Man......he's SuperMan.
