World Superman III should be remastered?

After watch Superman 3 on Tv the other day I thought this film needs to be remastered and restored. Possibly given a little george lucas treatment. A few scenes could be fixed. And why cause it has two acting legends in it Christopher Reeve and Richard Pryor.....

Suggestion for REMASTERED/SPECIAL EDITION:

1. Colour the Kryptonite Red.....so it fits better with the superman myths since red kryptonite makes him evil so should this fabricated kryptonite be red.

2. Try to fix up the computer seens. Not sure how. Maybe give the computer a voice, so the computer seems intelligent and so much that richard pryor after 1 week computer course can program a super computer. I am sure if they created some new Fx perhaps it could look like ricard pryor stumbled onto a Super intelligent computer program......

3. Some of the flying effects.....

4. the end scene could be tied up.

I thought it would be cool if they would go back and enhance the special effects in these movies, especially the flying scenes. I'm not sure if it's possible but if it is it would be awesome if they did it. Since the new movie is basicly a new Superman 3 this would make the movies fit together better.

I think it's fine the way it is. I own the boxed set of all 4 films and they're the movies I grew up with (besides any added scenes). I don't want them f***** with just because the technology is here now. The older films need to stay the way they are, they're the movies I love. The new film has amazing special effects because it's what we expect now, the older films look as good as they could for their time and they need to stay that way.

Definitely a new master, to clean up the dirt and that kind of stuff and do some color correction, to make them more vibrant. Absolutely no CGI though, no way.

No Cgi, is true.....But recomposite all the Bluescreen footage using computer technology would be great. It would make it look as good as any film if they colour correct it and recomposite it........Only Cgi buildings or things to fix up any issues. Also total clean up of any possible wire fxs....

Only cgi would be on some of the Rotoscoped FX....heat vision etc to maybe make it more modern, but that would be.....but yeah I agree no CGI superman......


What i real want is to see REd kryptonite in part 3................

and fix up those tacky computer scenes.....

i love the Atari-style effects when Superman goes thru that canyon of missiles.

Superman 3 was really a good movie. i loved the Clark Kent VS Evil Superman fight in the junkyard. classic!
Superman 4 was really ****ty tho. that's what kill'd the franchise.

This would be like remastering a pile of crap, no matter what you do, it's still crap.

Superman 3 is as bad a Supergirl.
