S StanLee Wannabe Civilian Joined Apr 29, 2008 Messages 387 Reaction score 0 Points 11 Feb 12, 2009 #4 After doing some research I've learned that there are a few materials: pleather - plasticy and slick moleskin - fabricy, stretchy, and smoothe gabardine - courser fabric (Christopher Reeve type) broadcloth - cotton used for lining I was wondering if what exactly was used for the Routh cape. Is there something besides pleather that is still slick but more flowing? I know some people coat capes in latex and paint them, though latex degrades. Is there some more sophisticated, slick cape fabric?
