World Superman "S" tattoo

hey guys (and gals), I need some help.

I'll be getting an "S" tattoo in about 3 months --- it will be my reward for FINALLY getting my weight down to 225 --- I started last year at 300

What I'm needing are some samples --- your own tattoo or pics / images of some really good logos.

The place I'm going can do anything you bring in. . . . . I've been amazed at the variances in the logo, so anything you guys can mention would be much appreciated.

Heck, this might be a cool thread just see some of your superman tats.

I don't think you can go wrong with the traditional S. That's the standard and will most likely never change. All the other ones are specific to their media or story. Shaq has an inverse colored one, where the negative portion is black.

When I had mine done I went to this site and checked out a lot of the different designs. It has many different styles that were done throughout the years.

Just make sure it is the one you want and do something to make it unique.

(P.S. the one I had done was from the cover of the Limited Collectors' Edition C-31, but it was shaded to look a little more 3-D)

I liked one I saw a couple years ago . It was the logo coming through the skin , Almost like the skin i shredded and youcan see the logo. It's a cool tattoo

It's not your normal colors. Mine is suppose to be, the S is made of steel, and it's reflecting the sun off of it....Hard to explain, but I'll hurry and get a pic up for you.

I've got one on my upper right arm, had it for about 10 years. It was doen really badly, so I've actually recently had some more work done to it to try to improve it. Once it has healed up I will post a pick.

I also have 'truth' and 'justice' down my forearms in Kryptonian.

I finally got around to getting mine done. (Just last night.) So I'm going to give it a few days (maybe a week or so) until I see how it looks after my arm heals all up. But I'll try to get a picture up here soon...

But so far, I'm pretty happy with it.
