That's absurd. Superman is faster and stronger and has more powers than Thor. Superman is about as fast as the Flash. Superman already defeated Thor in JLA vs. Avengers.

Captain Marvel was beating Superman in Kingdom Come because Captain Marvel possesses the speed of Mercury and the command of a magic thunderbolt by speaking a single word. But Superman still won.

And that's not even going into the extent of his pre-Crisis powers (or in out-of-continuity stuff like All-Star) Superman's gotten more powerful since his Byrne days, too; there's really no established upper-limit to his strength right now. Thor may have similar powers, but they're nowhere near the same level as Supes on a good day.

Agree. Thor has his magical hammer, but that is all. Supes has the advantage in Speed, and of course Strength. I give Supes the win in this one.

But Pre-Crisis Superman was pretty much invincible, remember how he manhandled the Martian Manhunter in Starlin's Mongul saga.

The Sentry would probably beat Superman, if he could not have a breakdown long enough, Silver Surfer probably would as well, but Thor couldnt IMO, Superman has much more to his game than Thor and is stronger, I have never seen Thor moving planets.

I believe that the DC Universe as a whole has the advantage in power. All the upper echelon powerhouses Superman, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter etc. are stronger than Marvels strongest. An enraged Hulk at his extreme limit may come close, but I'd say that's it.
