Another reason to watch the network that gave us Deadliest Warrior, Surviving Disaster is rather like Survivorman & Man VS Wild, except the situations pertain to saving your ass from more domestic dangers such as terrorism, office building fires and hurricanes. Also, while it's a "dramatic reenactment" of these dangers, the situations are realistically portrayed, as informative as possible, and thrilling to watch. This is due largely to the host, Cade Courtley, who kind of looks like Ben from Lost. You follow him and whatever group of actors/victims/survivors he's leading through the current disaster, which is usually the worst case scenario, learning life saving skills along the way. He's less like Bear Grylls and more like a deadly serious Go, Diego, Go. And it works.

I been watching it a lot. it kind ofremiend me of Worst case senorie. it usedto come on tbs couple years ago. they put you into sutaion then tell you what would you do.I didn't like the office is on fire. i kind though that was ok. next week its about hurrican . it looks gereat.

Oh right, that was the show based on the book series, wasn't it? Yeah, I loved those books but dropped the show after a couple of episodes. I don't remember why exactly, but having a character called "Gear Girl" test out weird new machines wasn't helping.
