That's exactly the point, if she was decent looking, she wouldn't get nearly as much attention. People say a lot of singers are exploited for their good looks, well this is just the flip side of that, she's being exploited for her ugly looks.

What do I think? I think I'm unimpressed. I went to school where we had a phenomenal music department. To even be considered, supposedly, a singer had to hold a tune while two other singers sang off-key notes into both his/her ears. I'm not sure if Susan could do that, but what I am sure of is there were several kids in that music department who could hold a tune as good if not far better than she could. One of them was a legally blind Football, Rugby and Wrestling allstar. Yet I don't see him getting a million hits on Youtube. Frankly, the masses were sold a Cinderella story not true talent.

Also, one thing that grinds my gears about this Boylemania, is many have been justifying her mediocrity as a singer by saying "well she simply isn't as practiced or polished as [insert ugly successful opera singer here], but she has natural talent that could have been great". Wonderful! Next year I'll apply for the NFL draft because if I actually had ever played Football my athletic prowess would've been sufficient enough to make me a successful player. Maybe after that I'll apply for a job at the art museum because if I hadn't given up painting I actually could've become a top talent at it. Point is potential is like an ass***e, everyone's got it, they have to work at it to make it special.

I finally saw this clip, she sang well enough but not as great as everyone is making her out to be. Her bravado did seem to be a bit all over the place.
