The cast of First Class, Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix aren't also beloved.

Except for Charles and Erik. Kelsey Grammar played Beast one time in a bad movie, he's still better regarded than Nicholas Hoult who played him for 4 movies.

Fox writers and directors just didnt know how to adapt these X-Men and make the general audience love each one of them. Crazy to think Fox had the best team but failed with this goal most of the times.

He kinda grew on me ngl, but yeah, he lacked that sophisticated charm and that signature intellectual wit and erudition, we had yet to see him delivering Shakespearean quotes with effortless gravitas in a fatherly, authoritative voice.

He would have been a solid young Cyclops though. Both in terms of looks and how he played the role

Well, we're talking about the young insecure Scott here. A quiet, reserved boy who has to grow into a leader. I think he would have fit the part.

I don't think Nicholas Hoult fits the role as Cyclops.

Whoever they cast as Scott, would have huge shoes to fill especially James Marsden is now getting his long awaited due as Cyclops!

Marvel wants to cash in on nostalgia now...they forget it will affect the new reboot cast down the line
