All I can think about is if someone did this to one of my dogs. I know it's hard for people who don't have pets to understand, but they are truly like part of my family. They are my "kids." I would be just as outraged/heartbroken over them as I would if my brother or mother were tortured and killed. I don't think that devalues my family members, but shows how much I value my pets. So I can understand why someone would say this guy has a target on his back.

^Agreed. When I first got my cat (have had her for 9 years). My friend joked around about hurting her, & a rage built up inside me that scared the hell out of me. I didn't think I would care about an animal that much.

Yea, I actually care more about cats and animals now that we have 3 of them.

How can people not like cats? My cat is the coolest thing on the planet, how anyone could kill 19 cats blows my mind. I would think more people would dislike dogs but it's never seemed the case.
