Sylar == Good Guy?

Evil? As I alluded much earlier. Evil is a very subjective turn that is dependant upon many variables. Culture and upbringing are among the top two.

Some folks believe there is no good and evil merely labels that people place on acts to rationalize and quantify. Another way to view the subject is that Evil must exist or there is no Good; there must always be balance.

Anyhow. Sylar has become my Hero over the past few weeks. Without him, these others would have no goal or unifying purpose.

I think Sylar's power to understand things and absorb them, like powers, has fed his ambition and he's not evil but he has an uncontrollable urge to understand how everything works and to become more powerful and more complete and he believe the best way to do that is other people's powers

Good and Evil are terms used by people to rally more people. But it is a term that everyone can use and does use to contradict the other side
For example WWII the Germans believed they were "Good" while their enemies were "Evil"
While the rest of the world believed the Germans were "Evil" and they themselves were "Good"
The rest of the heroes may think in terms of good and evil
But somehow I dont think Sylar does

I think on some level Sylar feels the same way. The thing he has said at least twice is that he see's how all the pieces fit together and in perhaps a way that many people will call twisted or weird, he is fufilling his place in the puzzle known as the world and life.

Who are you are any human among us to judge what is right or wrong? What makes you or your logic/belief/faith superior to my own? Why is your reality the proper one? How do you know for sure that you're belief in the good and evil system are not flawed.

Please note that discussions of good and evil can ultimately go towards the idea of a creator or God so be wary of your answer. It could be amusing none-the-less.

I think Sylar's a sociopath and that no matter how many abilities he takes, he still doesn't feel special enough. But he's driven by the desire for more power.
