Syn's Scratch Pad

hey, thanks a bunch!

No prob, man. You've got some great stuff here. Not only the manips, but the drawings and colorings. Your coloring style is fantastic! I especially liked that Galactus on the first page. :wow:

this is too good.... im afraid someone will see it and cast her! :)

Heh. maybe when i finnish it, i'll do it up as a poster, and someone can try and trick AICN into believing it. =D

Dude, that's really ****ing good.

Although I was never a huge fan of the classic costume for a live action WW movie, that's amazing. I love it.

*moved to progress shots 2*
new update. almost done. now i've just got some tweaking, gotta get a background, and have to somehow make it seem like she's wearing spandex, instead of body paint ;)

thanks for the kind words guys!

great job on the manip so far syn

Ugh, finally what I can basically consider done. This manip was pretty straight forward for the most parts (other than a few complicated pieces.)
- The gold was all textured from scratch.
- The shirt was basically drawn in by hand.
- The thong thing was basically created by me
- Background was found, and then built upon.

Those are just the things that weren't Photoshop EZ mode. Hope you guys like it and the progress.

I'll likely be making a movie posterish thing with it later. Much love guys and gals =)

Thats crazy impressive, I really like the Nick Fury one, I still have a hard time taking my flat colors and making them look dimensional in alot of my coloring shots.

The wonder woman manip is quite simpling breathtaking

thanks a lot guys. maniping is a love of mine. glad you guys like it.

Alright guys, here's a new sketch i started on. I currently plan to actually finish it up and color it and such. But I thought i'd throw out a progress shot. This is effectively my first attempt at drawing female anatomy, so I might be waaaay off. Thought i'd run it by the pros first ;) if there's any glaring flaws, i'd appreciate if you told me so I can correct them before moving forward. Rock on Guys.

It's still pretty loose. But it will be supergirl, hopefully. =)

and great job on that manip

great suff!

Thanks Matt. I really love this community (i'm pointing you out here, but it's not isolated to just you). When ever I'm feeling lazy or slack on one of my projects, I just come around here to see what everyone's up to or has been posting, and it gives me rejuvenation to continue work. I often look at your thread as a means of inspiration to keep going.

thanks a bunch C, I've not heard any glaring flaws about it yet, so i'm guessing that's a good thing. We'll find out when I start cleaning up the work more. =)

and great job on that manip

thanks so much. It was a fun project to work on.

I'm glad you've resurfaced, (it's been awhile since i've seen new work from you), You're another one of the talents here I enjoy keeping an eye on. =)

Never nice. You may want to play with the levels on her to try and take away some of that blue tint. Otherwise, that is goddamn spectacular.

Hey, thanks.

Yah, the blue tint on the right side (as well as *cough*partofthestripperpole*cough) are reminents that I didn't quite finish off. I was kinda getting sick of that piece and wanted done with it. But I will revisit at one point, at least to try and make a poster or something out of it, so I'll adjust that then.

thanks again for the kind words.

Hey guys. Here's an update on my Supergirl picture. Now that i've got the body structure down and the base inking, i can start putting levels of line thickness in, (after I finish up her face, and costume, that is). Hope you guys are diggin it. Rock on, and Enjoy.
