Taymore tackles TEMPEST with Mirren and Honsou

Julie Taymore Tempest, news of which has been circulating without any high-profile development, now has a poster... and may i say it looks awesome! loved ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, can't wait to see what taymore does with Shakespeare's last opus, especially with such an immaculate cast as Helen Mirren, Djimon Honsou, Alan Cummings and Russel Brand (was surprised to see his name in there, but excited none the less) so yeah, didn't see a thread for this, so i figured I'd make one...discuss!:

I loved Taymor's Titus, so I'm interested in this. I wasn't wild about Across the Universe, other than the fact that I got to see Evan Rachel Wood naked.

It also stars Reeve Carney, who will be playing Peter Parker/Spiderman in the new Spiderman musical on Broadway (also directed by Julie Taymor).

I have a feeling that Spidey musical will close in a week. Broadway critics are brutal and that thing just doesn't sound like something that will be a hit.

Oh man, this just jumped to my must see list. That looked AWESOME! I love Taymor's visual ingenuity.
