How about a quote from the teaser?

top of the poster: "There is something out there in the darkness...that will not stop until it gets revenge"


bottom of the poster: "me".


Perhaps a little long winded but could be effective, just a thought.

I love you're Two-Face tagline, however and unfotunately, Dark Victory was already a non-Batman movie in 1939, and then a TV show sometime in the 70's, look it up on IMDB. I do like the name though.

Nolan's probably got a better title for the third film already lined up anyway

I agree, that is perfect (although I'd perhaps change it to 'The Knight *will/shall* Rise').

Good imagery there, along with the darkness - night/knight wordplay. And it evokes the movie's title perfectly.

I hadn't thought about that before, but that would be really awesome for a teaser poster. It would be sort of like the background of the ibelieveinharveydenttoo site. Sweet!

For another Joker-centric tagline, I've always loved "not all jokes are funny." It won't get used, but it's awesome nonetheless.

And of course, for a Bat-centric tagline, nothing tops "when darkness falls, the night rises." t:

It should have something focusing on both Joker and Bats, describing the clash of chaos and order. Batman wants order whereas Joker wants chaos.
