Teresa Palmer Is Wonder Woman?

Moviehole has received good word that The Grudge 2, December Boys and Wolf Creek star Teresa Palmer has landed the role of Wonder Woman in George Miller's anticipated Justice League adaptation at Warner Bros. According to the site, Palmer just nudged out competition Minka Kelly and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

well if she is indeed wonderwoman i dont really know how i feel about her i dont know her acting skills and all that. also hopefully if she does get the role they have her dye her hair black. I was wondering what is her height is she short or taller ww is around 5'10ish right?

I haven't been following this film all that heavily, but I've got to say: I don't get this choice at all. Palmer is 21, 5'5'', and pretty inexperienced as a Hollywood actress.

And she's....Wonder Woman? *shrugs*

Not a *terrible* choice. I' don't have a stick up my butt about height like a lot of people but I would have preferred the WW actress be at LEAST 5'7" but oh well. This is more one of those "just wait and see. Might do a good job, might not" casting choices.

Um....kay? I saw The Grudge 2, but it was a completely forgettable film, so I don't remember her in it. I guess she was OK for the kind of acting a blonde needs in a "horror" movie, if you wanna call it that...But for Wonder Woman? it would help if she at least looked older than 14.

I know, that was a bit much. t: But my point is, she looks way too young for WW, IMO. I think someone like Monica Dean or someone who looks more mature should be cast.

i posted this on bluetights, but felt necessary here also:

i understand the height problems, but lynda carter was 5'9", and she is 5'5", but then again they can pull some movie magic and make her look taller, I mean they did make gandalf look like a giant next to those hobbits, im sure they could add a few inches to ww no prob................continue debating.
