Terry Brooks Books

I have First King of Shannara here and The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara Ilse Witch. Now I just started First King, which I am enjoying, and am interested to know how many books are there in the Shannara series, and what are there order?

Haha, damn, there are a lot it seems. I've read The Sword of Shannara (which I always thought was the first one released?) a few times...love it. I've started The Elfstones of Shannara before but never finished the book. After that, there's a third...The Wishsong of Shannara. If I recall, those are the original Shannara trilogy books.

Anyway First King is a prequel that came out at some point and deals with a lot of the ancestors of characters from the original trilogy of books.

I'll finish this one, then go on to the three you mentioned

I've read the Word and the Void series, which leads into Genesis of Shannara....I never knew the two were connected...
