Texas Rangers get 30 SB points

This is just...wow. 30 runs is hard to believe. I guess no one on Baltimore got any rest, cause their pitching and defense didn't come to play at all.

14 freaking RBI's between the 8th and 9th place hitters....man I thought hockey needed a mercy rule...dayyuummm!

The Texas Rangers became the first team in 110 years to score 30 runs in a game, setting an American League record Wednesday in a 30-3 rout of the Baltimore Orioles.

What the hell? That's a football score.

Like I said before, in the MLB THREAD....The rangers got no-hit and this past weekend they were struck out 17 times. They were due. Over due.

how do a team go from winning 3-0 to losing 30-3.

and what's bad about it, they are already losing 3-0 now in the 2nd inning of game2. :wow:

unf***ing believable.

So I just looked at the box score online, and unless there was a mistake, Texas' reliever was credited with a save. How does one get a save in a beatdown like this? Did most of the runs happen in the last two innings?

I think when he came into the game it was 6-3. As long as he stays in the game till the last out he gets credited with a save. Doesn't matter how many runs you score.

I think thats how it goes.

It explains it in this link.

to top this all off, they're playing a doubleheader, so after that exhausting game they have to play another. so far texas is winning the second game 6-5 in the 6th.
