Check the list. It's a good laugh. Way too much things to quote!

One example:

50: The Pink Panther 2 (February 2009)

Moviegoers might well be tempted by the impressive cast lining up for this wholly unnecessary sequel to a completely superfluous continuation of the once mighty comedy franchise. Steve Martin, Jean Reno, John Cleese and Andy Garcia may be acting greats, but for signing up to this they should hang their heads in shame.

Aeg!

I read this earlier today...!

Don't know why there's such a big deal over the Potter flicks!

What the world...why is the sequel to Donnie Darko even mentioned, much less ranked #26.

lololololololl

Apparently, we're not supposed to expect much in 2009..

Aeg is now your nickname...Or Aegy!

I hate it when lists have movies them have been haulted or canned. Do some dang research. :cmad:

I'm glad Wolverine is in the top 5. Now hopefully it can live up to those expectations.

I think Transformers and Terminator are more anticipated than Angels & Demons and Public Enemies{?}

Paul Walker and Vin Diesel reunite in the franchise that inspired a million minor motoring offences.

:oldrazz:

Obviously that list isn't talking about box-office, seeing as GI Joe is in the 30s, I'd expect that to be in the top 10 or 15 earners of the year.

Some of those movies i'm gonna avoid for sure :hehe:

You Kid GI Joe? Wow I better start looking into that movie. I just wrote it of as another piece of **** Hollyweird decided to churn out.

Some of the films on that list are just embarrassing.

Because they're good films? :p The last three, at least...

Yeah, cause Transformers was high art. I'd be surprised if the final box office take for GI Joe wasn't in the mid or upper $100 million range. It has that 80s kid appeal that Transformers definitely taped into. Plus with so few comic movies coming out this summer, this will fill that void nicely.

Looking forward to The Birds remake. As much as I like Hitchcock's version, some of the bird fx looked really shoddy.

I think Michael Bay is involved in that...enough said.

I think people would laugh at killer birds now anyways.

Where is that movie "UP"?

Transformers is definitely should be higher on any "biggest Movie" list.

Star Trek in the top ten is a surprise but I would like to see it be up there.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Hannah Montana?! #25?! :down

Anyway, there are a few movies here and there on that list that i'm looking forward to, but overall, if that list is any indication, there will be alot of lameass movies next year.

42: Them (no release date announced)

Them, a recently announced feature to be directed by Sean of the Dead and Hot Fuzz’s Edgar Wright, is not, as far as we can tell, an update of the hoary old giant ant chiller but a fictionalised adaptation of Jon Ronson’s investigative book about the shadowy conspiracies that operate behind our notional governments. Unless it turns out that the Illuminati and the Bilderberg Group actually are all enormous ants. Announcement on Jon Ronson's site

I could be wrong, but wasn't Edgar Wright going to do Antman as well?

Um, because the books are the most popular and fastest selling and successful series of all time and people want to see how it turns out?

It could be very terrifying. Marton Cambell is directing. So I'm sure this could be very good. Though I love the original even though it drags. But they should keep the ending. That last shot is eerie startling.

But the movies aren't good...And will never measure up to the books!
