Yeah, I have to admit, that while BvS is far from the worst film on this list, it's definitely the one that makes me the angriest. So much potential, flushed down the toilet by Snyder and a studio that trusted his "vision."

Dude, I feel your pain. Couldn't have put it better myself !

Man, how is that a movie featuring BATMAN, SUPERMAN AND WONDER WOMAN ends up being this bad?!....:csad:

I was asking myself that, and the associated question of how someone could screw up a movie with those three characters in it ?

They are the best known and longest lasting superheroes, all they would have to do is show up and look cool, and kick some ass (in a well-executed action sequence) and the film would have been fine.

yeah, screwing that up took some real effort.

Thanks, yeah.

Although, the other day, I realize that a strange thing has happened to me since BvS. Leading up to the movie, I was ready and willing to defend DC superheroes and their movies to the death, and while I've always like Marvel too, at least part of me was hoping that BvS would do better financially and critically than Civil War, as silly and immature as that may be. I was obsessed with all of it.

But BvS put it in perspective for me. This sh** simply doesn't matter that much. I can go see these movies and enjoy them, but there's no point in obsessing over them the way that I was. DC, Marvel, whatever... I don't care anymore. I just want good superhero movies. Marvel knows how to make those. Fox does too (most of the time). Maybe DC will figure out how to do it too without Christopher Nolan's influence, but if they don't, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it anymore.

In the history of cbm's and on the conversation of IN NAME ONLY, regardless of being a fan, Catwoman is one of if not the worst offender.
It's also about the most tedious to sit through.

Batman v Superman, owing to the sheer scope of it's failure.

Thanks, yeah.

Dude, I felt the exact same way leading up to BvS.

When the first reviews for BvS started pouring in, you must have been heartbroken huh?

Oh yeah. Felt like a punch to the gut that just kept on giving.

When I saw the film, it was hovering around the 38-41% mark, which I thought made sense for the I'd watched. The following dogpile pissed me off more than anything.

In terms of voting it the worst DC movie ever made though, not even close, if anything, all this poll does is serve to show me who isn't worth paying any attention to.

That's a bigger offense than bad writing, bad casting, or bad acting. When some studio decides to slap a name and costume on a film with little or no ties to the source material, that's the one unforgivable mistake. That's how pukefests like Steel and Catwoman happen.

Replace Steel with Jonah Hex.

Catwoman is an abomination. If we're voting this seriously that's the easy choice IMO.

Steel or Catwoman are the worst.

But BvS and Green Lantern are the most infuriating.

I can just forgot about really terrible films. But terrible films that completely squander the potential of some of my favourite characters? That **** makes me angry... even though they are just films.

Batman and Robin is my least favorite but I do have a fun time watching it - the freeze puns make me laugh so hard lol

GL gets no votes while BvS is second only to Catwoman....yea this poll is totally serious...

BvS was disappointing but the worst ever? Catwoman takes the cake since the ONLY thing the movie took from the comics was the name Catwoman.

That movie was trash.

Green Lantern was too. At least Ryan Reynolds was redeemed with Deadpool.

BvS was better than Daredevil too.

Batman and Robin was garbage. Chris O'Donnell was terrible as Robin, Alicia Silverstone is a terrible actress and Clooney I think just didn't care.

Sad thing is, BvS needed Christopher Nolan and HIS Batman. I personally liked Affleck as Wayne/Batman, but I think Bale or even with Affleck using the same idea of Batman as Nolan had written would have improved the movie. Though, Batman was the least of the problems with the movie as a whole, though I did enjoy it.

I'm looking forward to Justice League and the new Batman movies. Hopefully they can redeem what BvS should have been, along with Suicide Squad.

It's a toss up between Catwoman and Steel.

However, in terms of biggest disappointment it's BvS. You kinda knew Catwoman and Steel were going to be bad.

MoS and BvS do not belong on a list with any of the rest of the poll options. That's such petty behavior.

And it's silly that it's second place, too. The popularity of a bad idea doesn't change the fact that I don't agree with it.

Just because you personally like it doesn't mean other people feel the same way. This is a public poll. If people are voting for it, it deserves to be on it.

Took the words out of my mouth. I was obsessed with DC winning the game, but Marvel is just so much better it's undeniable. Civil War was stupidly amazing, I mean holy ****. I have little faith in the DCEU, and the glimmer of hope that I do have is in the films that ******** Snyder doesn't have creative input

I can only judge based off the movies I have seen

Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
Catwoman (last saw this when I was really young so I can't remember much)
Constantine (this is actually a really good movie, just not a good constantine adaptation)
Man of Steel
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

BvS left a truly bad taste in my mouth after I left the theater, so I guess thats it. I would say Batman and Robin, but at least that horrible movie didn't take itself so seriously.

I love Batman Forever. Such a fun movie that doesn't take itself seriously. Literally top ten comic book movies for me. Bvs is the most boring cbm, my god. I have no interest in ever seeing it again. Even the highlights were lame. The Doomsday fight sucked, all that electricity takes away from the visuals... The BVS fight was lame too. Civil War takes some of the same ideas and just does it so much better it's hilarious
