As to how it defined his career, I don't know? I don't think the film was a huge success, but it certainly showed a range I hadn't seen before in his work.

I threw in Rounders because it was really the first movie post-Good Will Hunting that really rode the wave of Matt Damon as a legit leading man. Like that was the first movie that they could put his photo/name on a movie poster and really say "Come see if because THIS GUY is in it."

Saving Private Ryan and Dogma were also ones I thought putting on there, and I can't remember exactly why I chose to leave either off.
