Let's talk about the famous auteur and director to some of the finest films ever made.

A poll will be included so that you can vote for your favourite.

(I apologise if I cannot list all of his films...I'll list his most praised films first and the rest second.

Of the ones I've seen I really liked Rear Window.....

North By Northwest, Psycho, Rear Window, The Birds, Life Boat are all good films. The one I like the most is Psycho.

Rear Window, The Birds, Vertigo, North By Northwest, and Dial M for Murder I like, but Psycho is by far my favourite.

My fav of his work is the same as the man himself. Vertigo.

Vertigo

And Cyrusbales is correct - that was his favourite :)

Truffaut's interviews with Hitchcock say Shadow of a Doubt was his favorite, Vertigo was his most personal.

'Shadow' is listed as Hitch***** favorite on the DVD, and was also said by his Daughter and most interviews I've seen

Love Rear Window.

'Shadow' is listed as Hitch***** favorite on the DVD, and was also said by his Daughter and most interviews I've seen

Most of the DVD's mention how that particular film was his favourite in some way shape or form....

Vertigo is need indeed a lot different from his other films...but it's a great film.

And has a great opening.

The Birds is my favorite! Awesome movie.
Then Psycho a close second.

EDIT:
I rewatched Psycho this morning on TMC and I take that back. Psycho is Hitchocock's finest...but the Birds is still super cool.

I only got round to watching Psycho all the way through, last week when I picked it up for a very reasonable price of £3. I pleased to say I love it so.

Also a great film from early Hitchcock is Young and Innocent...I thought this to be a great film post-the 39 steps. (I think it's the film afterwards/a few films afterwards)

A great great Biography of the man himself. Very indepth...and SOooOoo much info.

I reccommend...Have only read about 100 pages of it's vast length. :o
