Love the Zorro Movie Serials, pretty sure I posted about them, yet always worth resharing; while my favorites are Zorro Rides Again (who swinging off modern city rooftops, fighting fedora clad mobsters with tommy-guns, and driving around in a black sedan, likely informed Batman more than some want to admit)

Another of the first Leading Female Action Heroines who apparently never existed yet should be celebrated more is Nyoka Gordon (Kay Aldridge)
(daring, two-fisted archaeologist with a revolver and hunting knife, dual holster, and loyal K-9 companion Fang!,
(She well predates Indiana Jones and Laura Croft and has many of the elements they borrowed)

Two fantastic Pulpy/Serial era, Leading Action Movie Heroines, who apparently according to this gen, never existed.
In fact both of them together make pretty much the analogues female Movie Serials version of two of the greatest....
