Am I the only one who got Spider-Man 2 on PC...? I was about 12 or 13 and my parents agreed on getting me a computer game. I wanted to get SM3, but my crappy PC back then can't support it so I got SM2 instead.... Oh wells. :'(

I never played it, but I have seen gameplay. It had cool ideas, like pointing your webs to swing (although they were fixed spots), but it looks horrible lol

if memory serves me SM2 game was better then the SM3 game, so sounds like you may have benefited

If I remember correctly, Spider-Man 2 on PC, wasn't the same as Spider-Man 2 on consoles. I think it was an extremely simplified and dumbed down version. Basically the kiddy edition.

After all of the hype that accompanied the ASM video game. I have to say that I was very disappointed in the final product.

Did anyone else feel this way and do you have hopes that ASM2 will be significantly better?

I played it back in 2007 when I didn't have a graphics card to play Spider-Man 3
The funny thing is I bought Spider-Man 3 that year cause I didn't find Spider-Man 2 disc for that system

On PS2: SM2 > SM3
On PC: SM3 > SM2
From Treyarch: I actually never heard any difference from praising a sequel to massive dumping on the sequel's sequel before those two games, and being ridiculously misfire. After playing them both Spider-Man 3 is honestly the superior one, I'm glad I played it before Spider-Man 2

lol I got a new laptop in 2009 and it still wouldn't play SM3 w/o lagging. Was the issue ever resolved, like did it need a massively impressive graphics card or something?

My bro replaced it with his NVidia 8800 after he got a new one and the 7200 got broken with this device, 512MB made a lot of differences, I can play now with highest specs and very little to no lag

The only Spider-man game I ever played for gameboy was Mysterio's Menace, and I thought it really good despite not having more gameplay.

My bro replaced it with his NVidia 8800 after he got a new one and the 7200 got broken with this device, 512MB made a lot of differences, I can play now with highest specs and very little to no lag

That's game is a lot easier on the Sega Genesis, the SNES version is pretty difficult, but has better audio

Does anyone thing that with TASM 2 game, we'll get a full port from the console version to 3ds? I really hate not having free roam on my 3ds when it is more than capable. Not to mention how awful the graphics look at times, while at others they look almost at par.

Don't think it will be the same port, this game is supposedly bigger than TASM1

I just hope Beenox actually puts some type of effort into this port. Edge of Time looked beautiful on the 3ds and was the exact game. Not to mention it arguably had better graphics than the Wii version.

Spider-Man 3 was superior to Spider-Man 2 in any way if you compare PS2 SM2 with PS3/360 SM3. The web swinging was more realistic (webs behaved better but they sacrificed a lot of speed) and the overall feel in the city was superior. It's still my go to Spider-Man game if I ever feel like playing Spidey games (I hope that changes with TASM2 since it's next gen and has, hopefully, better web swinging).

SM3 on PS2/Wii/PSP are pretty bad imo. Gameplay mechanics are okay, but IIRC, certain cutscenes in the game are actually from the PS3/X360/PC version. Kinda irks me as the cutscenes are more polished than its own ones.
