Activision lost their Spider-Man, X-Men and Deadpool licenses for making games (excepting movie-based tie-ins of Spider-Man, apparently, also Capcom lost the Marvel license too).

Can't think of better news! Who do you want to pick up the Marvel licenses?

Activision removing every single game from Steam, PSN and Xbox Live should be enough, but here's the link of the Activision's Community Manager tweet that confirms it, and over here it's a GameInformer article about it.

Marvel just picked up the licenses, it's unknown what they'll do with them. They did the same thing last year with the 007 license.

Only the film tie-ins, because those rights are from Sony, not Marvel, so they're holding to those.

Rockstar would probably be way too obvious, though I'd love for them to develop a Bully-like Harry Potter game. It's hard to say considering the only real successful CB game series out right now is Batman.

WB Interactive (yes I know), RockSteady or Ubisoft.....Disney may do an EA /Star Wars type deal for the whole MU. I would not like that personally.

Rockstar has the ability to make a good open world environment, but I don't know if they would do well with Spider-Man. Would be amazing to get a free roam environment as detailed as GTA V.
