Also that could be the hero or menace system, Kraven says "let's see if a hero or a menace will crawl from the dark". He says hero or a menace right when we see the two webs.

...
I'll bet you a copy of the game that it's not the hero or menace system. All Spidey games have issues with web visuals. The hero or menace system will most likely be similar to the one we had in Spider-Man 3 on the PS2. The city could become duller with more trash (SM3 on PS2 had trash + trees losing their leaves and a dark/cloudy sky when you neglected crimes) and citizens could be more hostile/*****y towards Spidey + more crime.

Also, am I the only one annoyed by the fact that it's 2014 and we still havent gotten proper web visuals? Every single Spidey game gets the lame comic book looking webs instead of something realistic like the webbing from the movie. I get that it's hard to render thin stuff like this and that it would be harder to see but seriously, atleast SM3 tried (and failed tbh).

Trust me, I would much prefer your idea of the world changing instead, it just makes so much more sense!

Eh, doesn't really bother me.

I think it's a gameplay thing. People like to see the webs they shoot the same way people like to see bullets from a gun or lasers from weapons. I think a very thin web might be a little unappealing to see in a game. Sometimes it might look like Spidey is swinging on nothing. It works for the movies but not for gameplay.

I don't know, if someone can pull it off, hats off to them!

Activision is going to change its name to Activism. They are protesting the idea that game companies should feel obligated to release good promotional material for their product.

Man i just remembered how much stuff we knew about Shattered Dimensions one month prior to its release. I mean what we have now is what SD had 1 month and half after its announcement. 2 Trailers, a few screenshots and 3 Villans.

The info on one of the villains announced is still vague

I usually don't pre-order a game without seeing gameplay footage first... But I'll probably still pre-order it this weekend.

Technically it'll be a month 'till release on the 29th of March for you USA guys.

So we still have what is left of March and most of April to see stuff too.

They did say they will have more info coming up to release, still that's not good marketing. People need to see the game before hand if they want to feel safe in purchasing it.

While I agree the marketing for this is...interesting...they never officially said this week would be the week the walkthrough would come out. Some guy answering emails said it would be a good week to do it. That was all. I'd say we still have two weeks to go, personally.

This, I knew that it wasn't confirmed. And their tweet wasn't just them making fun of themselves but them taking back their soon due to marketing (most likely) delaying the trailer.

I agree and this is bs this is the worst marketing I have ever seen
frick you activision let beenox go

Then they should've told us that it has been delayed and not be so vague.

I'm just incredibly shocked at how long this is taking for the marketing team to put together...

They want to release it as close to the release date as possible. Minimum loss of units sold if the footage isn't received well.
