Both Shocker and Cletus Kassidy in one game, without using having their special powers/gadgets/etc?
That will be interesting, but I hope Shocker becomes the Shocker we know and love

The Shocker picture reminds me a bit of Shattered Dimensions Juggernaut stage
 
SOMETHING. FINALLY. The article sounds great--really great--and the pictures inspire some hope, but I'm not buying this game till I see some footage. End of story.

I'm sure Herman will become Shocker. They wouldn't have hinted Shocker on their Facebook page otherwise.
 
I do really hope the screenshots are last gen. (360/PS3) Cause if so, this game won't look half bad--actually pretty good. If these are current gen, however...eeughh.

If this is web rush running that could mean they refined the animation, and Spidey improved his movements after experience with the web rush instead of moving awkwardly
Graphically the cab and the bus look cel-shaded, other things look more like [PROTOTYPE] graphics
 
I like how L is to swing with the left hand and R for the right hand. Did the guy that played it yesterday comment any further about the swinging?

Nothing more than what's in the article. I like the sound of it even more than before. Sounds like it'll be something new and fun to master.
 
Anyone else loving the more accurate Oscorp tower? There were some inaccuracies with the first game's building. The roof looked different from the film but now it looks a lot like the film's version!

Also the lights!

I wanted them to give us more control over the movements of Web Rush and not make all automatic. Web Rush was often very repetitive. It was cool to do and chain moves sometimes but after a while it was the same spin animation all the time and I really wanted there to be an upgrade system that unlocks classic Spidey poses and maneuvers(e.g The pose from the latest trailer). It helps the player feel like they are in control of what he does as opposed to being limited to what the game does. I want to flip and somersault and vault over the opponents. I want to be able to flip to the side and dodge! Not just dodge roll all over the place.

Hmm, the location of the Daily Bugle seem to be respositioned in this game
 
I hope we can perform loops and climbing up our webs too. I remember in the old games we could loop around a building to make ourselves go higher. It was a nice touch.

Something like making a nice blend of the web rush from the first Amazing Spider-Man movie game and the web strike from Web of Shadows with improvements? I'd love to see that happen, and I think it will be fun

Um not exactly. I would like to see the return of the proper web strike from Web of Shadows(with the slow down effect) but I want too see more animations and have more options with web rush. It's more fun to DO than to WATCH if you know what I mean. For example in the movie trailer Spidey drops from the building...and then he fires a web at the last minute and runs along side the wall and does a jump then he keeps going. Stuff like that should be possible.

And tbh I wish they would give us more animations than the free fall dive. Why not give us the option to increase our speed? That's the main reason I liked Arkham City so much. You were in control and not the other way around. That's my biggest concern with this game.
 
They also have said that Beenox developed Web of Shadows and Kingping's real name is Richard Fisk.

But yeah, it's probably Herman.

Yeah lol. I'm only so sure because Beenox themselves hinted Shocker.
