Not trying to excuse the stiffness and rolling of Spider-Man in this game, but it doesn't bother me that much. Reason being he isn't THAT acrobatic in any of the movies either. In that first fight in the first movie against those thugs, when looking for Uncle Bens killer, he was not doing that amazing xD. Although that was his first fight fight, so that's not bad, some times he would come off as kinda stiff and other times very acrobatic.

If it were a Spider-Man game based directly off the comics or cartoons, I would say he should be "Amazingly" acrobatic. Since he is very acrobatic, but has times of being like a regular guy in the movies, him being that way in the movie based game is okay to me

I finally managed to web yoyo from a chinook
Hope I can do that with a flying helicopter in a future game
What if this game turns out to be pretty awesome? I mean, given that it's probably Beenox's last Spidey game unless Activision keeps the film license rights?
Maybe not so awesome, rather good

On another note... that lady was just NOT interested in this game whatsoever haha
I hoped she's interested

I disgree. He was more acrobatic in ASM and Spidey is more acrobatic in general. And he's even more acrobatic in the movie. So I disagree.

I'm already regretting the $79.99 I paid for the pre-order...

Watching parts of the movie again this past hour, your right. He was quite agile, a lot more than the older Spider-Man movies (I still love them). I guess it still doesn't bother me too much, even if a lot of it is cinematic and out of my control whilst playing him, as long as it's better than the first (which I loved anyway). At least it's some improvement even if only slightly, although I do wish we didn't have to wait for another couple years for them to finally get that down.

I'm trying to think of how it could play and look if he was as acrobatic as he is in the comics and movies, with the way the game has so many close ups and over the shoulder views. If someone can pull that off in the future, I would be super happy, since I am a fan of the camera being closer to spidey

I hear you. I'm a fan of the closer camera too. In the other games Spidey was way too small. So I'm glad they kept that. But I imagine Spidey to be more fun to play.

Me too. I seriously want to see Sucker Punch tackle Spider-man. I think it's long overdue.

I told you dude, that can't happen unless Sucker Punch move from only making games for Sony. It would be cool but Spider-man won't be a console exclusive. If Sucker Punch pull a Bungie and go cross platform then sure!

Where did you preorder it? I'd gladly buy your preorder if you want to sell it. You'd just need to declare that you're selling me for $20 and I'd get the game here without paying importing taxes.

This actually looks pretty good for what it is, gonna be picking it up after watching this preview

That's a hypothetical statement man.

I've still got my fingers crossed for a spoderman suit. I would also like some Kraven story dlc with his lion vest, leopard pants & normal facial hair included.

im ready to see that walk through trailer to give me more of a better idea

I'm convinced the speedy will frustrate me for quite a while

Just wanna say some stuff I noticed.

I like this left button left hand, right button right hand swinging. Good idea.

I don't like hero or menace system. Spidey's always a hero. Only Jonah thinks he's a menace.

Peter works for the Bulge? Maybe that's in the film.

I don't like the thing where you have to learn different moves. I mean for the Arkham games, you could just use punch for everything and win just about everything but bosses. You shouldn't like force a gamer to use different combat you know?

It does seem like there are camera problems during combat.

Brutes and speedy's? Meh.

Overall nothing great. Looks ok.

WTF? Why is the price too high?
I don't care if it's a PS4 title, that is awfully too high

The price is the price lol. No bartering in Canada unfortunately...

Maybe
There is a picture of the Bugle building

This is exactly why I never got the Tactical Combat they say introduced in Arkham Asylum

It does seem like there are camera problems during combat.
All games have it, if you want honesty

Brutes and speedy's? Meh.
Agreed

That's awful
Wait for the price to drop

You had to use different gadgets and tactics on some enemies in the Arkham games, it's the same situation here there is no difference.

Like what I mean in the Arkham games is if you fight a gang of thugs, you can just use attack and counter really. You don't have to use Batclaw and Batarang and other stuff but you can.

With the Titan guys, you had to use a batrang but that's it. In City you use Cape stun against those bastard. The 2 one armed brothers, you don't really have to use multiple attacks. Just dodge and punch really.

When bosses come in, then you use other gadgets really like you should but we're talking a gang of thugs.
