The Amazing Spider-Man the Amazing Spiderman-movie storyline

If they re-do Venom storyline, I really want to see Jameson jr bring it from outer space. Or if they would spice it up with some ultimate... here's what I imagined:
Symbiote gets found from a planet (or moon maybe?) and they bring it back to earth. The goverment wants that a scientest Richard Parker studied the symbiote. After a while Parker discovers that the symbiote has amazing healing abilities and belives that it could be a possible cure for cancer. After some tests with great results they deside to test it with a human. In the test the symbiote kills the guy and the goverment desides to get the symbiote to area 51. But Parker secretly steals a part of the symbiote and tries to continue his research. After a while he desides to stop the research and hides the symbiote in a secret locker in the very lab he was working in. And later Peter discovers that secret locker...

So, Peter's mom and dad are gonna die in this movie? It has been reported that they will be in the movie and played by Campbell Scott and Julianne Nicholson. But if they outlive this movie, then I don't see how they can properly fit in Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

Then again, if his parents do die, along with Uncle Ben... Kind of a tragic start of Spidey's career.

It's not bad, but it's certainly not something that proffessionals would write

the Lizard and Nels Van adder are the villains
The movie features characters such as Gwen Stacy, George Stacy, Peters parents and so on...

Or they aren't using them at all because this trilogy is about different stories.

Avi Arad said that we will not see stories we saw in Spiderman 1 2 and 3. Spiderman2o29 said that it doesn't mean that they wouldn't use any of the same story arcs but we wouldn't see any of the previous Movie stories. Basicly "people it's not a remake of the Raimi films"

Maybe spiderman2o29 isn't a reliable source of information, but then again neither are you

Green Goblin's story arc would be exactly the same...unless they go with that gawdawful Hulk Goblin and if they do that then I won't go see the movie anyways. They won't have Norman taking a serum and putting on a mask and suit and riding around on a glider that will ultimately kidnap Peter's g/f. Harry won't then take over his father's mantle.

Don't get me wrong, I trust in Avi Arad. But did Avi Arad ever say literally that it's not a full reboot? No, he didn't

I know you've read this, but just to prove my point:
"It's not a comeback. You have to look at it this way. Do you want to know more about Spider-Man? This movie is going to tell stories that you didn't see in movies 1, 2 and 3."

Now that could easily mean what spiderman2o29 said, Arad basicly telling that they will not be the exact Raimi's Spidey stories remaked

And if Sony really is about making money with this, they would propably redo Venom and finally make a Venom spin-off
