The Banshees of Inisherin

I remember reacting to how it got darker than expected, but then still with a quite unexpected ending.

I saw it yesterday and loved it. What a beautiful setting! I would love to go there one day.

I also loved that it’s a rare film that didn’t punish the introverted guy. Usually films are about how introverts should work harder to become extroverts so extroverts feel better about themselves but this was like, no he’s fine the way he is. Just leave him be

I loved this. Easily my favorite McDonagh. So much better than Three Billboards.

Late style is very becoming on certain writer-directors and I hope McDonagh stays in this vein, similar to how Paul Schrader has since First Reformed.

I really can’t get over how giant Brendan Gleeson’s fingers are supposed to be.

It’s like he was throwing chicken legs at Colin Farrell’s door.

It really feels the most like his plays out of his 4 feature scripts, which is great. I feel like he'd never adapt any of his old work, but I'd love to see it.

If one of Reeves's Batverse projects doesn't include a scene where Joker eats the last of Penguin's Crunchy Nut cereal then there is no hope for society.
