The Bionic Woman (2007 NBC series)

after 3 episodes I gave up on this show...most people would've quit after 1 episode...but the pilot wasn't all that bad...they just went in the way wrong direction with this one...and Michelle Ryan just played the role so awkwordly...it never worked.

indeed, they made this series too serious and up its own ass.
it should have been a more "heroes" type series if anything, instead of a full on dead serious boring pile of horse dung.

and they should left in the great sound effect too.

The only good thing about this show was seeing Robocops creator Bob mortimer show up a few times.

I wonder how Dick Jones would feel, lol.

I gave up after the second ep.

Like i said before, it's a miracle of god that Flash Gordon is still on Sci-Fi. :cmad:

either that or sci fi was short of series to air thanks to the strike

This starts the 11th March ITV2 in the UK so actually going to see it lol.

the show would have been better if they had it more like alias. and i mean by making Jamie a full field agent that goes on black ops missions. you could have had the the pilot as it was and then just jumped a year ahead and show here as an asskicking bionic woman. tell her training and the trials in flashbacks like lost or BSG. give Jamie a main bad guy to fight from the start like that Sara chick. the show lacked a main focus and so the acting suffers because the actors don't know what they are to do.

A year is too long. Part of what will make Jaime interesting is seeing her adjust to being a cyborg. The fact that the show glossed over this aspect is why it failed. By all accounts being Bionic didn't look all that different from Jaime being normal.

Picked up Volume 1 of Bionic Woman. It has 8 episodes. How many episodes aired and how many were filmed?? Damn, this show had real potential!!!!

as i understand it11 out of 13 were completely filmed before the writers strike screwed things up

Not enough Bionics!!! The show should have stood out far beyond Alias and it comes in a pale second. What were the writer's thinking. Damn, it could have really gone somewhere.

If only we got to see the whole season and where it could have gone. Maybe even fembots by season's end...lol!!! Let's hope Volume 1 of the DVD has HUGE sales and it makes a comeback like Jericho!!!
