The Bionic Woman (2007 NBC series)

This show was horrible.

The writing was really bad, the acting was just as weak, and it was so boring!

Yeah, not sad to see this one get canned.

So far, since it's been brought up, the SCC has been liking up to the Terminator name. It's really good so far, hopefully they keep it up.

The last ep they aired wasn't that bad but it was too little too late. All the eps before it were absolute garbage. For some reason or another they made a conscious decision to tone down the bionic aspects of the show and reduce it into a Dark Angel remake. That was their downfall right there.

Exactly.

There should have been no reason to watch this show and wonder "Where's the action?" That's not to say it should have been purely eye candy, but a different product was needed.

I've alway thought that genetically engineered humans/shows where people are enhanced by robotics tend NOT to do well and get quickly cancelled.

Jake 2.0
Dark Angel

To name a few.

It was a terrible show in every conceivable way. The lead actress was completely miscast and absolutely awful.

NBC finally did something right. Hoepfully that awful KnightRider remake doesn't get off the ground.

The only reason why I tuned in every week was for the lead actresses rack. But it was a horrible show from the get go. It did pick up and some things got good, especially with the addition of Isiah Washington to the cast but all too late.

Anyone else think using nanobots as the source of her bionics was just totally wrong? I don't mind if they chose to include them but the bottom line is jaime should have looked like a Terminator after she was rebuilt not Jane 2.0. That was one of the key aspects of the show that drew audiences to watch the original Bionic Woman. They should have called this one Nanobot Woman.

If I start watching now, will I be lost?

yes... my suggestion is to catch up on fox.com. all the episdoes are there. it's only 4 or so, so you're not that far behind.

Dark Angel did good until they moved the show to the death slot that is friday. And it was canned to make room for Firefly (they picked up DA for a 3rd season then dropped it during the summer) Plus what doesnt Fox cancel?

I never watched this. I hope it comes on one of those Sci-Fi marathons. :(

Plus that asian guy was pretty hot. :o

One of the many reasons why I hate FOX, but word is going around about a possible movie being made. *crosses fingers*

The last episode from Bionic Woman showed potential, to bad it went out the way it did. :csad:

Even though this show was incredibly boring and got the axe it deserves. I hope I see more of Michelle Ryan and her boobies in the future.
