The CARTOON Hero contest, Round 1 Voting.

Wow, there sure were a lot of rules to this contest. I was going to enter but knew that if I was lucky enough to get through round 1 I probably wouldn't have time to do something for round 2.

If another contest is done like this in the future, I agree that people should be voted off. I think it should be like survivor. Only those that entered the contest can vote. Obviously this takes care of people voting for themselves.
Voting would have to be handled via PM so that only the artists can vote. If there is a tie, a PM can be sent to those involved to vote again, with voting restricted to those entries that got the least (and tied) number of votes.

Voting would be anonymous this was avoiding the chance that someone gets their feelings hurt.

A few less rounds might be helpful too.

just got back from france after 10 days of not really being arsed enough to find internet access... went to angouleme comic book festival, met chris claremont, showed my work to some people, ANYWAY...

i def agree that you shouldn't be allowed to vote for yourself, but i thought you said originally that if someone broke the rules of the contest, s/he would get a warning and not be immediately chucked out...?
