Well that's a surprise. I hate cgi but this doesn't look all that bad. Like all things I'll have to wait for more in order to judge. I guess it's certainly different, Batgirl being the star, hopefully it'll shine the spotlight on the rest of the bat-family too.

It should be noted that this was only presented as a hypothetical scenario in the last Brave and the Bold episode and nothing is confirmed, but it could possibly indicate what the CGI Batman show could look like. Also, it was a Batman show that was confirmed, not Batgirl, so even though a Batgirl show would be interesting no one should jump to conclusions just yet.

Well, basically the details that were announced at Comic-Con were that it would be CGI, it would be darker than The Brave and the Bold, and it would debut some time in 2012.

This has nothing to do with the Comic Con incident. Ben Jones (BTBATB's primary director) says this on his Formspring:

Thank you Ben for your attention but I wonder if the trailer now, the cartoon at the end of the last episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold in England is the new design of Batman?

No, sorry, that was from a short produced before Batman: The Brave and the Bold even started. I don't know of any future plans for those versions of the characters.
