I'de keep them all, cept I'm unfamiliar with Ultimates. Don't know who it involves or it's storyline, etc.

I'd like to think that by keeping the number of titles to a minimum, their quality would improve. Unfortunately this probably wouldn't be making Marvel enough money - so I guess you'd have to keep most titles as they are.

What's wrong with bringing back books that got canned? If I ran Marvel i'd like to bring back Thor, and Journey into mystery. Super Villain team up. Add some more books like some sort of cosmic anthology series that does sci fi stories. Some western books. Try and cover more genres than street level crap.

I'd just insist that the X-Men and Spider-MAn books get streamlined. IT's just ridiculous how many titles get launched and canceled over and over

Ya know I just came back from New England Comics and I have to say that marvel blows right now. Most of there books are majorly screwed up right now. If I were running the show I would order so many of thier books to wrap up the current story lines and then cancel them and start fresh, rebuild on thier core characters, and most importantly replace most of thier current artists.

I dont think most people realize comic books are a business. i.e you need to make money.

Is it not possible to make money by putting out comics people want to read....Do you think anyone wants to read a Heroes for Hire that doesnt star Iron Fist and Power-Man?????...or a supernatural commando team?????? Or a Blade that fights common crooks????

Yeah but what if those dont sell? Im not defending him and you guys know how much I hate the guy, well maybe not hate but dislike greatly. As ive said before he approves a pitch for an Iron Fist solo, they market the book and it doesnt sell, hes the one with his ass on the line. Its a fine line really. i dont think when youre an EIC you should worry about sales and just focus on good stories. But you also dont want to throw out a product that nobody is going to buy.
