Horrible right? horrible but makes you respect dogs on such a deeper level then just a pet. In most cases they are much more. You hear stories like this all the time, dogs selfless acts to save and protect their masters and masters family.

Im sorry for such a sad story but THIS is one of the many reasons why I will always love a dog far more than a cat. Dogs unrelenting love and companionship for their humans are stronger bonds then most humans find in one another.

What a good kitty! When I was a kid my sister's cat woke us up when there was a fire in our house late one night. She kept meowing and scratching until my mom got up and found the living room armchair on fire. Puff saved us all but we didn't alert the media.
