just the fact that this is a reboot is enough separation in itself, but if there was one actor they should bring back from that series it is JK Simmons.

I think we need to just accept that this is a reboot and let the JJJ from the Raimi series stay in the Raimi series. Plenty of other great actors can surely take on the role and it'd be awesome to see something fresh.

I wouldn't mind if JK returns as JJJ, I just hope they would make him a bit less goofy to make the contempt he has for Spidey more convincing. In the Rami movies it felt like Spidey was more of a annoyance than a menace to JJJ IMO.

John Slattery for a more serious JJJ (Ultimate). The Ultimate version is a more realistic take on Jameson, somewhat like the MTV Spider-Man series.

No, I think they are building up to the Daily Bugle. They NEED to include the Daily Bugle sooner or later. Now that Peter is graduating he is probably going to look for a job, so we can assume he will try out the Bugle. Maybe in the third film.

I don't know, I really want to see Jameson as soon as possible

and from the absolute lack of news on who is gonna play him, it might just be possible that at the end of this movie they'll throw Simmons as a surprise to us. Now that's a thing Marc would never even hint about before the movie

I'm saying if TASM (which came out in 2012) did that, MOS (which came out a year later) would have been ripping off TASM, not the other way around. TASM came out a year before MOS did.
