The only Diddio that I've read were the first two issues of OMAC and they were good. The FCBD issue got me curious about PS and the rumor that this title might be connected to the creation of the Spectre also has me intrigued. I want to try it but I don't really want to add new titles. I've budgeted this and Talon into my plans already, so it isn't really like it's an extra pick up, but when I'm looking to drop books it might be easier to just not start new ones.

I don't know... I figure I'll decide once I skim it, but I'll likely buy it.

X-Factor however, is likelly done. I've already passed on one issue and I'm realizing that I continue to buy it for the love of the characters and the promise of what the series could be. The first two years were phenominal but that's where it peaked for me. I had them all out yesterday rooting through them, trying to decide if I want to sell some, all, or any of them and I realized I've not really enjoyed the title in about two years. There were high points, such as Rahne's road trip issue, but it's been very bland for me. And I don't get David's fascination with Hell and Hellish stories and characters in this title of late. Everything is just dark and demony and mystical right now and I just don't like that with this book. I want more street and known villains like in the first couple of years.

Literally, the ONLY thing I'm interested in right now is the Isolationist. I don't care about Rahne's child, or Guido losing his fun factor, or Rictor and Shatterstar's relationship. None of it does anything for me. I dont' really want to drop it because I love Madrox and Shatterstar and others, but I wish someone other than David would take over. He peaked YEARS ago. The only issue that even held a candle to those first two years was the baby issue and that was a long time ago.

His OMAC was freakin' great. I think because of his name is why not too many people gave the book a chance. If you like the character give it a try and if the writing stinks then at least you tried.

I love how the comic shops get their stuff a day early. That way, I don't have to worry about Labor Day messing with my pick ups. (Except, I can't always grab my stuff at 11:00 AM, like I'm used to.)

Anywho, school starts tomorrow for the kids. I'm back on the sub schedule, and will have to start finding extra time to read my comics. I'm happy I got through about half of my books in my three short boxes of stuff I needed to read this summer.
