so

the entire point of this thread was to bash Superman Returns without anyone noticing?

...well played.

I can tell already, this is going to be just another thread for people to praise movies they love, and bash the ones they hate. They wont even take the questions seriously into consideration, even if they feel it did get a particular thing right. It's just another excuse for SR haters to bash SR, and X3 haters to bash X3. Almost every negative question there should be answered by Batman and Robin.

Do you seriously mean to tell me if you could think of one movie that was miscast terribly, it's Superman Returns? It's funny then, that you call Superman the best cast, and yet Brandon Routh practically IS Christopher Reeve. Besides, Kate Bostworth and Kevin Spacey surpass Kidder and Hackman any day of the week, at least in terms of the specific characters. And X3s plot may not have been the greatest, but it's better than a plot to freeze the planet so plants can live on it. Since when can plants live on an ice planet?

Truer words have not been spoken. Least till my next post.

And on X-3's cure plot not being swallowed by comic fans....Whedon is going to be pissed.

Apparently you do since you bothered to actually follow the rules of it

also

The Shadow miscasted? Come on. Go back to the x-boards

where I lurk

I bet he thinks Stephen should've gotten the role instead.

Does Billy even exist? I don't think I've ever seen him. I'm pretty much started assuming he's just an urban legend in '98 or '99.

I think it's really that other one

I don't remember his name

he was in that vampire movie with James Woods

I think it's him with a long.****ing.overcoat.

And a hook for hands. yes just one for both

Whoah. Superman Returns fans very defensive. I guess not even making $200 million with a movie that they thought would pass a cool $400 million will do that to fanboys everywhere.

This was not a hidden SR bash at all. I'm not allowed to pick best and worse?

In case you're wondering, the reason why I picked SR for miscast is because of the Routh issues before the movie. They took away from it, even though when I saw the film I thought he did a great job. It also is a knock on the new Lois Lane who looks like a high schoool cheerleader instead of a Pulitzer Prize winning fearless journalist. I thought Perry White was horribly miscast. I thought more than any superhero film, the complaints before and after about the casting took away from the experience.

My choice for single worst casting job ever is George Clooney as Batman, if it makes you feel better.

Fantastic Four, who cares? It's the Fantastic Four.
Ghost Rider, Punisher, same principle.
Kilmer, Keaton, Bale all  Batmans.
Reeve the best Superman ever.
Hulk, bad arse looking CGI character true to comics.
X-Men all cast wonderfully unless you're one of those nerds who is still mad that Wolverine isn't 5 feet, as if there was ever a successful Hollywood actor at that height other than Danny DeVito.

Have to give it to Superman Returns.
