The End of An Era: JP Is Nearly Bald

As most of you know, I have a super awesome epic head of curls. Well, after sporting long glorious locks for the past 6 years, I decided to go to the barber today. I cut it all off. Now, I still have some hair on my head. Basically a buzz cut and I look like I'm going off to war.

I got a little teary eyed while sitting in the barbers chair. But, I don't regret it. My hair was pretty damaged anyway, and now my scalp feels so good.

So does it take long for your hair to grow? Like if you decided you wanted it back to what it was before, about how long do you think it would take?

Well, to be fair, the picture in the first post was about 2 years ago. Since then I have cut it shorter. But I always retained the curls on top.

To have it grow back to the length it was this morning (pictured below) probably 3-4 months.

It's definitely a shock to cut that much of your hair off. I used to have my hair longer as well and cut it all off. (Which amounted to around 7 inches.) Change is always good JP. I'm sure you still look fine, despte your mom calling you a cancer patient.

Same here. I remember when I had my hair to my nipples for 4 years. Cut it into a fauxhawk, and finally buzzed it all off. Thinking of growing it out again though.
