Jennifer Carpenter & Morris Chestnut join NBC pilot The Enemy Within
TV Line reports that Jennifer Carpenter (
Dexter) and Morris Chestnut (
Rosewood) have joined the cast of
NBCs new drama pilot,
The Enemy Within.
Carpenter will star as CIA operations deputy Erica Wolfe, described as a highly intelligent codebreaker who learned her craft from her father. She will team up with Will Keaton (Chestnut), an FBI counter-intelligence agent. Carpenter and Chestnut are joining the previously cast Raza Jaffrey (
Code Black) who will play an FBI agent specializing in interrogation techniques.
The Enemy Within is written and executive produced by Ken Woodruff (
Gotham) and is being billed as a character-driven investigative thriller.
