A TEENAGER is facing a life sentence for kicking and stamping a defenceless man to death in a savage "happy slap" murder.

Andrew Elvin, 17, stripped Luke Salisbury naked and kicked at his head for more than three minutes as another teenager filmed the victim's last moments on a mobile phone.

At the Old Bailey on Friday, Elvin was found guilty of murdering Mr Salisbury while his friend Caine Hallett, 18, was convicted of manslaughter for joining in the fatal attack.

The court had heard that Mr Salisbury, 30, was dragged out of a flat at a party and down a flight of stairs, his head bouncing on every step.
He was left to die among the litter in a communal hallway,the jury was told.
