Does anybody know if thier will ever be a flash video game some time in the near future.

Probably not any time soon. Though there was one being developed for the PS2.

I'd like to see one, especially if they do what a good amount of games do with the slow down time bit.

Of course if they try to make one then we might have another Superman Returns game on our hands.

The game that never came to be:

I'd like to know what happened to it.

I'd like to know what the combat in that game looks like.

One of the most annoying things about the Superman Returns video game was how whenever I would try to run in the game I when crash into a building.

I've always wanted a good Flash game, and that old footage always gives me hope that the game would at least be decent. A modern game, with similar gameplay elements but hopefully a slightly more realistically designed city would be great.

My biggest issue was that you could never ignore the random crimes no matter how much you wanted to go do something else. If you ignored them the city died so you were forced to constantly do side missions just to play the game.

Crime never sleeps when you are Superman.

But I know what ur saying.

Yea, once you "cleared" out all the enemies. The cities life bar would just reset.
Is it worse than the Hero/Menace meter in Amazing Spider-Man 2?
I know the city in SR is much larger, so trying that will be a bigger chore.

I have a few ideas for how to handle a Flash video game:
  • Have both Barry and Wally playable, set apart their costume designs, and skill sets.
  • Add speed mode
  • To make Flash move really really fast, select the point you want to go to on the map, select an option to move there, and look at the Flash run fast, black screen, next screen pops up.
  • Switch between characters anytime in the game, the style of Ultimate Spider-Man game
Eh, they're about equal IMO.
Well dang.
I won't be playing Superman Returns.

Alright so this week this aired on EPN.TV it's Flash back to cartridge games Review that the lot of us may have missed out on. it's the only reason I'm bothering with this. So apologies this hasn't re surfaced and a new game hasn't been announce by WB montreal or Rocteady. Or anyone else ether. Not yet any way

After seeing this man I love to see a new game though.
