"world premier" doesn't necessarily mean new game, it could just mean new trailer for example, though Geoff did confirm that will be some new games revealed.

Hi all jokes here, as you all know the annual awards show for all things video games known as The Game Awards hosted by Geoff keighley is happening very soon (tomorrow in fact) and each year there are 5 specific video games that stand out from the pantheon of other video games released this year and are chosen as game of the year, some games are good, other......not so much, but these 5 are what show the world that video games are awesome and this year especially had some legendary video games.

Basically im gonna list out the nominees this year and have a poll for you guys to choose which game you think or hope will win that honorary title of Game of the Year.

And the nominees are:

The Witcher 3 or Bloodborne winning would both be fair. Both are truly great games imo and already two all time favorites of mine. It is also nice to have a year where I have played all the games on the list. t:

Fallout 4 is easily the best game of the year for me. Witcher was good but slow and boring. DA seem to try to please everyone.. For every reason.. And fell flat. Halo was decent but.. Eh.. MGSV was another Destiny to me.. So little for so much wait.. It just all got old so very fast.

But to be fair.. I've barely tapped Bloodborne.. Only because I just recently rebought a PS4 and I've been playing Fallout ever since.

Witcher is the only answer. It's so far above every other title that came out this year(and there were some GOOD games this year).I don't expect it to win at this awards show as the game is far too deep, intricate and smart to appeal to the masses that vote in The Game Awards, but it'll no doubt clean up at the Interactive Achievement Awards.

Fallout is my choice, slightly edging out Witcher. I'd give it to MGS if not for the bull **** twist for the sake of a twist ending.

I have only played Fallout and MGS from that list, and I haven't finished either yet. Fallout 4 is definitely my GotY. MGS has been great fun too though.

I think the only two games I've played that were actually released in 2015 are Arkham Knight and Fallout 4. I guess seeings as I lost all interest in Arkham Knight and it's ham-fisted forced Batmobile nonsense Fallout wins by default, if nothing else.

I've been watching people play Arkham Knight and the fact that you get forced to constantly use the batmobile made me not want to play it. Like, at all. I put off playing Origins just because I lost interest in the Arkham games for a bit and I doubt I'll pick up the rest of the series.

I'm genuinely confused as to how someone could think Fallou 4 was GOTY. It's not even better than previous Fallout games.

A daft plot, massive cutdown of RPG options, incredibly linear fetch quests, and a settlment making system that feels only half finished.

Don't know what you did in the Witcher 3, but you can play straight through the main quest if you want. I can see you finding it boring, but it isn't slow.
