Game Awards 2020

It’s super fun, great characters and pretty clever too. I would love to see a sequel with a bigger scope one day

The game of the year isn't on the list. I still patiently wait to be able to play Hades on a console I own. :argh:

Ranking the games I have played on the list:

1. VII Remake
2. DOOM Eternal
3. Last of Us Part 2
4. Ghost of Tsushima.

I will laugh if Hades pulls out a surprise win.
I'd smile. :hehe:

Just to be clear, I think these are all good games. But imo this year has been rather weak, and while I loved Remake outside of two ridiculous chapters that made me walk through some boring ass sewers, the other two Playstation exclusives are rather weak imo. I have issues with TLoU Part 2 from a narrative perspective, but I honestly don't understand the love for Ghost, and I platinumed both. The gameplay is rather basic though fun, but the writing and structure are blah to abysmal imo. All the characters suck, and all the missions are the same damn thing over, and over, and over.

In the meantime...

So this is only a few days away. What is everyone hoping to see here? I’m still holding out hope for a Silent Hill continuation reveal, Bloodborne Remaster reveal, and an Elden Ring gameplay trailer.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH ELDEN RING

Crimson Desert is going to have a full gameplay reveal at TGA. Apparently it will have a single player campaign after all.

The game announcements are what I'm looking forward to the most, as I don't really care/watch award shows in general

The Game Awards 2020 Will Feature Over a Dozen New Games

I Would love to see some unannounced 2021 game releases as the 2021 ps slate isn't as eXciting compare to this year, yet. Like I keep looking back at 2018 and thinking how many huge games came out that year and with great reviews.

Great to see that many new games announced!

Smash reveal guaranteed.

Also, based on the past week, I find it hilarious that Nolan is presenting tonight.

Not sure I'm gonna be able to tune in live tonight but I got my votes in. Naturally I ended up voting for The Last of Us Part II in just about every single category, but hey, what can I say? It deserves the love. Will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Swedish Chef coming to Overcooked.

TLOU2 won narrative, which.... oof.
